Hannah Rose Platt
Hannah Rose Platt is a Liverpudlian singer-songwriter, steeped in the traditions of American country music. She has toured extensively in the UK and USA and recorded with Grammy Award-winning musicians. Her songs have often been played on radio and TV. Picking up a guitar at the age of five and teaching herself to play, Hannah’s musical education came courtesy of her step-father’s record collection, into which she would dive voraciously, drawing inspiration from a wide variety of music. In the spring of 2015, she released her debut album Portraits to widespread critical acclaim.
Recorded in Nashville, Tennessee, Portraits features some of the industry’s leading names, including Grammy award-winning musicians Mark Fain, (Ricky Skaggs, Dolly Parton), Stuart Duncan (Emmylou Harris, Dolly Parton, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss) and Jeff Taylor (The Time Jumpers, Elvis Costello). It received widespread airplay on BBC Radio, Resonance FM, Amazing Radio, and Europe’s leading country radio station CMR Nashville. The song ‘1954’ was featured several times in the TV soap Hollyoaks and Hannah was invited to the home of legendary BBC presenter, Bob Harris, to film an Under the Apple Tree Session for Whispering Bob TV. She has also appeared several time on Liverpool’s Local TV Channel BAY TV.

Little diamond
So far everything is well explained, the order of each step is absolutely on point and the course is perfectly structured. The fact that the videos are more or less short is also a great advantage for me as I don’t have the time to watch an hour long video in one go. Simple tips that we might not think about and great tips for sure. I also enjoy the references used in this course as it helps to illustrate each point even more. This course is, in my opinion, a little diamond.
very good foundation for lyric writting
This course is perfect for me. I have been writing poetry for years and have always wanted to turn my poems into lyrics and then into songs. I had started doing that before this course and now I know how to restructure my writing for music and it is making all the difference.
